Alexis & Johnathan’s Tybee Island Engagement Session

Alexis opted for a beachside engagement session with a side of spanish moss; I have the perfect locations for both just minutes apart on the island. The pair drove all the way down from North Carolina to meet just in time for golden hour.

You guys, these two had the most amazing session!

When I say they were down for quite literally whatever creative vision I came up with, I mean it. They frolicked the beach, Johnathan got his work out in twirling and lifting Alexis around, the two layed down in the sand, and they even rolled around the water’s edge together.

Do not be nervous about your engagement session. I mean it.

“Do you two like each other?”

Perfect, leave the rest to me! I use gentle prompts aimed at getting you and yours to interact and enjoy each other. Do not worry about a thing other keeping your hands on your person 😉

Fun Fact- I started my photography career (full-time) on Tybee’s North Beach when it re-opened after Covid. It is still one of my most favorite spots for beach portraits in the area with the lighthouse views, jetties, beautiful dunes, and easy access.

Counting down the days until wedding day with these two beautiful people. Their day is set to take place at Hewitt Oaks in Bluffton, SC. Even fun-er (yes I know it is not a word, no I don’t care) fact is that I started photographing weddings at Hewitt Oaks in 2020 as well. To date most of the weddings I have captured took place there and it just gets better each time. The staff are wonderful, they have in-house planning, the food is superb, and the oak trees and spanish moss are to die for. If you haven’t before, check them out-  Hewitt Oaks

and tell “B” Krystena sent you!
